Winter Maintenance

Reminder: Range access will be plowed periodically during the winter but access is not guaranteed. Access is at your own risk, smaller, lower vehicles and those without 4 wheel drive run the risk of getting stuck!

TANNERITE BINARY EXPLODING TARGETS

Legislation concerning the use of “Exploding Targets” has been relaxed and the use of these types of targets may soon be available to recreational shooters.

However, the position of the Selkirk Game & Fish Association with regard to “Exploding Targets” is as follows.

“EXPLODING TARGETS OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED

TO BE USED ON THE PROPERTY OF THE SELKIRK GAME & FISH

ASSOCIATION AT ANY TIME.”

Membership Changes

Please add your license plate and birth date of applicable family members on your membership form.  Incomplete applications will be returned along with your cheque.

Applicants may not use the range unless they receive their membership cards, gate combination, and list of safety rules in the mail.  Make sure you have your membership cards with you when you visit the range.  At times you will be asked to show your membership.  It’s up to you to prove that you’re a member.  If you do not have your membership cards with you, you will be required to pack up and leave.

The New Road

Thanks to Al Phillips and the crew at Dola Brothers we now have a new road to the handgun range.  The old road has been closed off, and all traffic will now come in through the main gate.  Please use this road only for getting from range to range, and not for parking.  It’s taken alot of work to get this done, please give your thanks to Al next time you see him!
