Summary of the Wording on Range permits as issued by the C.F.C.
This range is approved for all handgun calibres and activities.
The use of shotguns, utilizing slugs/shot or saboted slugs, on this range during IPSC or IDPA type shooting matches is permitted.
This range is approved for all handgun calibres fired from long guns.
This range is NOT to be utilized if Range #3 (Trap Range) is active.
This range is not authorized for the discharge of handguns.
This range is approved for shotgun trap shooting only (NO slugs, NO skeet shooting, NO sporting clays shooting.)
The discharge of rifles on this range is not authorized.
The range is not to be utilized if Range #2 (Overflow) is active.
The use of all handgun calibres for IPSC/IDPA type shooting matches is authorized on the rilfe range on the condition that the firing points are no greater than 50 yards from the backstop.
The use of shotguns, utilizing slugs/shot or saboted slugs, on this range during IPSC/IDPA type shooting matches is authorized.
This range is approved for all rifle cartridges contained in the templates “.22 Long Rifle and .223 Remington” and “.308 Winchester”.
This range is approved for non-reactive target type shooting only (NO bowling pins, NO hard silhouette targets).
This range is appoved for all handgun calibres fired from long guns.
This range is not to be utilized if Range #3 (Trap Range) is active.
The use of .50 Browning calibre is NOT authorized for use on this range.
If you are transporting a restricted handgun to the range, it can only be fired at the 100M overflow. You will also have to have a Selkirk Game & Fish Pistol Club Membership. The basic membership offers you no legal grounds to bring a restricted firearm the facility. Handguns are not allowed on the main range, and only rifles that shoot a pistol cartridge, or handgun may be fired at the handgun range. The handgun range is not templated to fire rifle/shotgun.
Holsters are only to be only used for IPSC/CDPA practice. You must show qualification & proficiency before holstering at this facility.
