Range Info

We operate four distinct ranges approved by the CFO Manitoba office.

RANGE SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Range 1 – 200yd

  • Range 1 is approved for rifle shooting from the benches.
  • “This range is approved for calibres from template group:  .22 Long Rifle, .223 Remington, .308 Winchester and .338 Lapua Magnum”
  • Shotguns and handguns may not be used on Range 1
  • Benches 1 & 14 may only be used to shoot at targets 100yd or further.
  • Targets must be placed on the targets stands provided. Please bring a staple gun or thumbtacks. Targets must not be placed on the ground or on top of the ground baffles. Personal target stands are not allowed.

Range 2 – 100yd

  • Range 2 is approved for rifle shooting from the benches.
  • Shotguns may be used on range 2.
  • “This range is approved for calibres from template group:  .22 Long Rifle, .223 Remington, .308 Winchester”
  • Handgun shooting is no longer allowed on Range 2.
  • Targets must be set up such that bullets will pass thru the target and impact into the face of the end berm. Targets may be placed at intermediate ranges but must not be placed on the ground or low where the bullet will impact the ground before it hits the end berm.
  • Shooting into side berms is not allowed.
  • Airborne, or thrown targets (clay pigeon) are not allowed.

Range 3 – Trap Range

  • This range is located between Range 1 & Range 2.
  • This range may only be used during organized league nights.
  • The trap leagues normally operate Wednesday evenings beginning at 5:00pm. The dates for the start and end of the trap leagues are posted on our website Event Calendar.
  • When the trap field is in operation both Range 1 & 2 are closed to all shooting.

Range 4 – Handgun Club

  • You must show qualification & proficiency before holstering a loaded pistol at this facility.
  • ALL BAYS – SHOOTING MUST BE CONDUCTED WITHIN BERMED AREA, AT OR IN FRONT OF THE MARKED FIRING LINE
    • (Refer to list below or firing line markers in bays).
  • Targets must be set up such that bullets will pass thru the target and impact into the face of the end berm. Targets must not be placed on the ground or low where the bullet will impact the ground before it hits the end berm.
    • Airborne, or thrown targets are not allowed.
  • Shooting into side berms is not allowed.
  • Bay 5, 4, 3, 2 – Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle to .308 up to 25M from the berm.
  • Bay 1 – Handgun up to 25M from the rear berm.
    • Shotgun up to 50M from the rear berm.
    • Rifle from static positions up to 75M from the berm.
  • Bay 6 – Handgun & Rimfire ONLY up to 15M from rear berm.
